A large creamware mug with an imposing transfer -
O THE ROAST BEEF OF OLD ENGLAND relating to Hogarth's arrest for spying while sketching the arms of England on the old city gate at Calais in 1748.
Circa 1790
Approx - 6.25 inches (155mm) tall.
